Alternatives for Girls is a non-profit organization whose mission is to help girls and young women experiencing homelessness and other risks avoid violence, early pregnancy, and exploitation. They accomplish this mission by providing the support, resources, and opportunities necessary for young women to be safe, grow strong, and make positive changes in their lives.
This support includes warm rooms and housing units with meals and showers for those experiencing homelessness, daycare services to help women care for their children, domestic violence crisis intervention and prevention services for women seeking a safe and protected environment, and so much more.
